CHURCH OF SAN ANTONIO DE LOS ALEMANES

Description

This Baroque church was founded by Philip III in the early 17th century. It is notable not only for being the only church in Madrid to have an oval nave, but also for being entirely covered in frescoes. Madrid’s Royal Brotherhood of Refuge and Piety is currently entrusted with the task of leading worship in the church, as well as running visits from Monday to Saturday and organising classical music concerts
