MADRID HISTORY MUSEUM
Description
It was founded in 1929 in the old San Fernando Hospice, an 18th century building designed by Pedro de Ribera. It narrates, through its collections, the history of Madrid from its capital in 1561 until the 20th century.
Its invaluable collection contains paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, postcards, porcelain, fans, plans, coins,
medals and endless pieces.
Free entrance for all
