MUSEO DE SAN ISIDRO. THE ORIGINS OF MADRID
Description
It is the municipal museum responsible for safeguarding and disseminating the archaeological heritage gathered by the Madrid City Council. Its collection ranges from Prehistory to the Court's transfer to Madrid in 1561.
It preserves a valuable archaeological and paleontological collection, an archaeobotanical garden and an interesting iconographic representation of Saint Isidore, patron saint of Madrid.
