The Prado Museum is the jewel in the crown of one of the city’s most popular tourist itineraries: Paseo del Arte (Art Walk). The walls of the Prado are bedecked with masterpieces from the Spanish, Italian and Flemish schools, such as Velázquez’s Las Meninas and Goya’s The Third of May 1808. Its collection boasts some 8,600 paintings and more than 700 sculptures. The museum’s website proposes three different itineraries, lasting 1, 2 and 3 hours and taking in its most important masterpieces
