Testimony of an era, the Lázaro Galdiano Museum is located in one of the most sumptuous palatial residences in Madrid. The magnificent pieces of painting, sculpture, jewelry or fabrics are an open window to the personality of José Lázaro and his passion for the arts. From Antiquity to the 20th century: El Bosco, El Greco, Velázquez, Murillo, Goya, Paret, Madrazo, Lucas Velázquez or the adolescent El Salvador from Leonardo's workshop. His Library houses 50,000 copies and bibliographical material -including 900 manuscripts and 60 incunabula-, as well as the most important graphic work of Goya at the time, with 900 prints.
